Tell Kevin McCarthy to condemn the appointment of Stephen Bannon

California's House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy is supporting President-elect Donald Trump's appointment of a racist, misogynistic, anti-Semitic, homophobic, transphobic, anti-immigrant, white supremacist as Senior Advisor and Chief Strategist: Stephen Bannon.

Bannon recently served as the executive chairman of the Breitbart News Network, parent company of the alt-right website Breitbart News, and promoted white-supremacist ideals during his tenure. He's called liberal women "a bunch of dykes," and stated that he didn't want his kids “going to school with Jews." Worse yet, his appointment by Trump was endorsed by the KKK, with former Klan leader David Duke calling the appointment an “excellent” decision. 

This is unacceptable. There is no place for support of an alt-right white supremacist in California politics. 

Sign the petition and demand that Kevin McCarthy and his Republican colleagues condemn Bannon’s appointment:

"I am deeply disturbed by your support of President-elect Donald Trump's appointment of Stephen Bannon as Senior Advisor and Chief Strategist. As a California representative it is your duty to uphold our ideals of inclusion and acceptance of all individuals regardless race, gender, sexuality or religion. You must rescind your support of this bigoted man, immediately."
