Demand House Republicans Vote on the American Jobs Act

This action is now complete. We embarassed California Republicans for their stance on the American Jobs Act, including our protest of Speaker Boehner during his visit to Orange County in October 2011 that we dubbed "Occupy Golf Course." We continue to demand that Congress support job growth over other dubious prioirities. Find our other actions here.

House Republicans won't even allow a vote on Pres. Obama's jobs bill. They'd rather 166,000 Californians and 2 million Americans remain unemployed through the next election. And the California Republicans in Congress hold real power, occupying key posts in the Republican leadership.

We're going to make them understand what their actions are doing to their constituents. The first step is to join the thousands of Americans demanding a vote on the American Jobs Act.

Sign our petition and join our new campaign to make California's Congressional Republicans accountable.
