Make calls to win back the House!

We’re just 23 seats away from winning back the House this November, and seven of the most vulnerable Republican districts -- districts that voted for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in 2016 -- are right here in California. But unless there are Democrats on the ballot in all seven of the those districts, our hopes may be dashed. And that fear may become a reality if we don't turn out voters for the primary on June 5.

Here's why: California has an open primary system in which candidates from both parties run in a single primary on June 5. The top two vote-getters are put on the ballot in November, no matter what party they're from. The problem is that because so many Democrats are running this year, they could end up splitting the vote, allowing two Republicans to advance in November.

That would be a disaster -- and it could keep the Trump Republicans in control of Congress. The solution is to make sure the Democratic turnout is so high Republicans won't be able to take the top two spots, no matter how many Democrats are running. And that depends on you.
