    Stop Trump from starting nuclear war with North Korea

    We just got more terrifying evidence that Donald Trump is unhinged: he recently engaged in reckless nuclear brinkmanship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un -- over Twitter. In response to threatening language from Kim, Trump said, "I too have a nuclear button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works."

    Only Republicans in Congress can rein Trump in and stop him from blundering the US into a nuclear war. But not a single sitting Republican lawmaker has denounced Trump’s dangerous tweet. They’re so cowardly that they’ve completely abandoned their Constitutional duty to act as a check on the executive branch.

    To us, it’s this simple: if GOP lawmakers won’t stand up to the President when he threatens the basic safety and security of our nation, they don’t deserve their jobs.

    That’s why we’re launching an emergency petition demanding that every Republican member of Congress denounce Trump’s nuclear aggression and limit his ability to start a nuclear war. Will you sign it now?

    "Donald Trump must not be allowed to start a nuclear war with North Korea. I call on you to immediately publicly denounce Trump's provocative tweets targeting Kim Jong Un and to declare your support for the Restricting First Use of Nuclear Weapons Act, which would prevent any president from launching a nuclear first strike without Congressional approval."
