    Thousands of Courage Campaign members have asked Senator Dianne Feinstein to fight hard against Senator Jeff Sessions’ nomination to become Attorney General of the United States. She did not disappoint, raising one concern after another about Sessions’ judgement, fairness, temperament, and independence.

    Sen. Feinstein’s denunciation of Sen. Sessions was a polite, but fierce and unrelenting, framing of many of our deepest concerns about him -- setting the stage for the powerful testimony and probing questions that followed. In short, she set a great example of how we expect elected officials to fight the Trump agenda when it threatens our communities. When elected officials promote the people’s agenda, they deserve thanks. When they don’t fight for us, we need to hold them accountable. That’s how we build power and influence as a movement.
