    SIGN THE PETITION: Demand California's GOP leaders reject Trump’s violence now!

    The violence promoted by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is spiraling out of control, and the majority of leaders in the Republican party are sitting on their hands, watching it all unfold. Worse yet, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California said that Trump’s nomination would give his party a positive boost.

    It’s a disgrace that any of our country’s elected leaders would do anything other than speak out and wholeheartedly disavow the violence stirred up by Trump’s hate and bigotry, especially those who represent California -- the most diverse state in the nation. The fact that Rep. McCarthy and other GOP leaders are trying to put a positive spin on Trump is not only irresponsible and out of touch, it’s dangerous.
