BART riders! Vote YES on Measure RR

Originally designed to carry 100,000 riders a week, BART now carries over 400,000 riders a day. The tremendous surge in ridership has placed a significant strain on the four decade old train system. And with the region expecting the population to grow by 2.4 million people by 2040, the Bay Area simply cannot wait any longer to update its aging BART transportation infrastructure to meet the surging demand.

Measure RR is a critical $3.5 billion bond measure that would modernize BART to keep it safe and reliable and bring it forward to the 21st century. Specifically it would replace 90 miles of rail tracks, repair tunnel walls damaged by water, update BART’s electrical infrastructure, perform critical earthquake safety updates, replace dated train control systems, increase BART’s frequency and capacity, and more.

But repair our aging BART infrastructure, we need thousands of Bay Area residents to take action now.

Sign the pledge to vote for Measure RR on November's ballot:

"I will help improve the Bay Area's aging transportation infrastructure by voting YES on Measure RR on the November 8 ballot."
