Demand PG&E & CPUC be held accountable for unethical relationship!

A string of new emails just released reveal inappropriate, unethical and dangerous back-channel communications between PG&E and the CPUC in the continuing legal fallout over the 2010 San Bruno gas explosion that killed 8 people and destroyed 38 homes.

This latest revelation uncovers the shady relationship between the two parties, with PG&E running the show as the CPUC tried to develop a penalty for the utility’s responsibility in the San Bruno blast. As our partners at The Utility Reform Network (TURN) have said, “PG&E had a personal shopper in [CPUC President] Peevey’s office, helping to pick and chose the judges that suited PG&E best.”

The CPUC can no longer be trusted to protect public safety! We must stand together to demand justice for the many victims of the deadly San Bruno explosion.

    SIGN THE PETITION:

“We demand CPUC President Michael Peevey resign and turn over all email communications between PG&E officials and the CPUC IMMEDIATELY! There must be a full investigation into the dangerous relationship between PG&E and their regulator, and we demand accountability for anyone found guilty of corruption.”
