    Tell federal prosecutors: Hold PG&E's bosses accountable for San Bruno blast!

    Now that Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) has received criminal charges for their gross negligence that lead to the 2010 fatal explosion in San Bruno, California, we must demand federal prosecutors do everything in their power to hold the infamous energy giant and their leadership fully accountable for any potential crimes committed.

    PG&E and its bosses have consistently avoided any potential responsibility for their role in the disaster that killed 8 people and destroyed 38 homes, all while taking home record profits and refusing to adopt critical safety measures.

    This is our chance to finally receive justice for the victims of San Bruno, protect Californians from another deadly blast, and make sure that innocent ratepayers aren’t left footing the bill for PG&E’s negligence. All it will take is some courage from the federal prosecutors.

    “Thank you for indicting Pacific Gas and Electric for criminal negligence related to the fatal San Bruno explosion of 2010. I ask that you have the courage to prosecute the leadership at PG&E as well for any potential crimes committed relating to the disaster, and to hold them and the company fully accountable to the fullest extent of the law and to not cut any deals. I also ask that you ensure that the company and its shareholders are the ones who pay the price, not innocent ratepayers.”
