Stop PG&E from raising utility rates for safety measures you ALREADY paid for!

Pacific Gas and Electric just received approval to raise California utility rates by $8 a month. Now they're asking for another $5 a month to pay for safety improvements that Californians already paid for!

We must hold PG&E accountable for the hundreds of millions of dollars they have already received and demand they not pass ANOTHER increase in utility rates.

Last year, PG&E cashed in over $800 million in profits. If PG&E still needs to make improvements to their safety standards, it should be on them and their shareholders to cover the bill, not Californians already facing excessive utility rates.

Investigative reporters continue to pile up evidence of an inappropriately close relationship between PG&E and their regulators, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). It‘s clear that the CPUC cannot be trusted to regulate PG&E appropriately. That is why we must have the COURAGE to act!

SIGN THE PETITION and tell PG&E:

"Do not charge PG&E ratepayers another $5 a month for something they've already paid for! PG&E must be held responsible for the hundreds of millions of dollars you've already received for safety improvements."
