Pledge to defend LA's kids from corporate lobbyists and vote for Measure EE
The kids of Los Angeles need your help.
Earlier this year, the teachers of the Los Angeles Unified School District went on strike to highlight the funding crisis in our local schools. Now, teachers, parents and concerned citizens have come together to put Measure EE on the ballot to address that crisis. On the June 4 ballot,Measure EE is a progressive parcel tax that primarily asks corporations to fund lower class sizes, and attract and retain quality teachers, counselors, school nurses, librarians, support staff, and principals in LA schools.
Some corporate lobbyists and mega-landlords are opposed to Measure EE because they're more concerned with profits than LA's children. That's why we need your help to get Measure EE passed on June 4.
Sign the pledge to prioritize our children and our classrooms:
"I will vote for Measure EE on or before June 4 because the children of the Los Angeles Unified School District deserve a quality education, and LAUSD schools should have the resources they need to support teachers, nurses, counselors, librarians, and support staff. The stakes for our communities are too high to let corporate greed prevail over the needs of our kids, our teachers, and our schools."
