Tell Assemblymember Marc Levine: Reject Big Oil's dirty money!

According to the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, Big Oil magnate John Scully and his wife Regina Scully donated $102,000 to a ballot measure committee set up by San Rafael Assemblymember Marc Levine.

So far, the money has paid for a glossy campaign mailer that went to hundreds of thousands of voters all over the County, touting Levine's environmental record. But in a bizarre twist, the mailer actually claims that Marc Levine is AGAINST fracking, even though the guy paying for it is making a fortune PROFITING from fracking.

This just stinks of foul play. Why would investors in Big Oil spend $102,000 on Marc Levine unless they expect him to support their interests?

If Assemblymember Levine wants to represent us, he needs to reject Big Oil and not just with words. Paying the money back is the only way we would know he's not in their pocket. To make him do that, he needs to hear from courageous local community members like you.

Sign the petition to tell your Assemblymember Marc Levine:

"I'm one of your constituents. As my Assemblymember, I expect you to represent the interests of me and my neighbors, not special interests. Have the courage to return the $102,000 John and Regina Scully donated to your ballot measure committee and tell Big Oil investors, 'Your money is no good here.'"
