Stand With Kaiser Mental Health Patients and Clinicians
No one should endure excessive wait times when suffering from mental health issues -- but mental health patients at Kaiser Permanente are being forced to wait weeks or even months to receive care.
According to Kaiser mental health clinicians, patients’ already excessive wait times have grown even longer over the past two years, with some waiting as much as three months or longer for return appointments to treat their serious and chronic conditions. In addition, Kaiser therapists have been penalized for blowing the whistle on Kaiser’s care failures by being forced to accept lower raises and fewer benefits than other Kaiser employees.
Kaiser has reported surpluses of $17.5 billion over the past 5 years. It’s time for them to put people before profits and provide its patients and workers the care they need.

"Please implement full mental health parity now. Settle a fair contract with your mental health clinicians that increases staffing to reduce patient wait times and provides therapists the same raises and benefits as other Kaiser employees!"
