    Republicans in the Senate agreed to give Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray and six other key executive branch nominations an up-or-down vote, assuring their confirmation. This was only possible because California Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer heard from you and 11,359 other Courage Campaign members. They answered your call and decided to fight the filibuster with the so-called "nuclear option" to change Senate rules with 51 votes.

    California's Senators stood strong because they knew you had their backs, but there is still much work to do. We must truly reform the filibuster to restore democracy in the Senate and allow crucial judidical nominations and legislation to pass.

    Make sure that Senators Boxer and Feinstein know that you appreciate their bravery and expect them to keep up the fight until the Senate is a democracy again. Sign our thank you card by adding your name on the right.
