Host a Clean Not Extreme action!

On August 1, we are gathering in our communities all over the state for Clean Not Extreme actions. Many of these events are going to be very straightforward in structure: a bunch of local folks will meet up at a park or other public space to speak out about their concerns about fracking and extreme energy, and their desire to see us move toward clean energy. Of course, if you want to do something more elaborate, there are lots of options for that. You can get creative with signs and visuals, or invite speakers, or have copies of an anti-fracking petition for people to sign. If you're interested in participating, the first step is as simple as picking a place and time and filling out the form below. One of our organizers will be in touch soon to think through a plan with you.

    Event rules

Here are the basic requirements for event hosts:

Here are the rules for hosting events:

    • A strong desire to advocate for Clean Not Extreme energy in your community and California as a whole.
    • A willingness to reach out and connect with others in your community who feel similarly, in order to build an event planning team (if you don’t have one already), and stay in touch with the folks who sign up to participate in your event.
    • A willingness to make sure that necessary materials are brought to the event (you can ask other participants for help). Most of your host materials can be viewed online, but some will need to be printed out.

Next, we'll e-mail you a link to confirm your event.
