    Gov. Brown must pass the the Presidential Tax Transparency and Accountability Act

    The Presidential Tax Transparency and Accountability Act (SB 149) -- which would require all presidential candidates to file their last five income tax returns with the state of California in order to have their name placed on the ballot -- has passed the legislature. Now it’s facing its biggest hurdle yet as it heads to Governor Brown’s desk.

    The American people deserve to know whether their presidents are motivated by the will of the people or by the president's own bank accounts. Will you place a call to Governor Brown and ask him to sign SB 149 into law and help ensure a transparent and accountable presidency?
